Traditional village ironstone pub built during the 1600's with a thatched roof. It was totally rebuilt following a fire in the 1960's. As the name suggests, it was a Royalist pub during the Battle of Naseby and this is reflected in the decor/memorabilia found inside.

The Conservative Club is a Private Members Club, initially formed as the Leighton Buzzard & District Unionist Club.
The foundation stone of the building, now Grade II listed, was laid in April 1913 and the building officially opened in September 1913 by the Duke of Bedford.
